Cadyn Ogden Day honored at SCC Wrestling Duals
Cadyn Ogden Memorial Bench
Saturday, January 31, was designated as “Cadyn Ogden Day” during the South Central Calhoun wrestling duals in Rockwell City, as the school and wrestling community gathered to honor the memory of Cadyn Ogden.
Ogden was a sophomore at South Central Calhoun and passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was an active member of the Titan wrestling program.
During an intermission at the duals, Ogden’s teammates and friends presented his family with a memorial bench in his honor. The bench will be placed outside the South Central Calhoun wrestling complex in Rockwell City, serving as a lasting tribute to Ogden and his connection to the program.
The moment provided an opportunity for the wrestling community to reflect on Ogden’s impact and to recognize the bond shared among teammates, friends, and family as they continue to remember him.
