Calhoun County Sheriff's department conducting investigation

This morning, the South Central Calhoun Community School District (SCC CSD) was notified of some news concerning a student.
Due to the nature of the situation, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s department is conducting an investigation in association with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). As such, the school and any associated staff are unable to comment further on the situation.
SCC CSD is planning on releasing a statement once more information has been confirmed by the Sheriff’s department and DCI.
It has been reported that two 911 calls were received this morning in regards to the investigation which started at 7 a.m.
When investigators arrived on the scene in Lohrville they found one individual with an injury to the head and seven individuals in the home.
No identities have been released yet, and no arrests have been made.
