Yesterday, the Calhoun County Board of Supervisors approved an early retirement agreement for EMS Director Kerrie Hull.

Hull has been with the Calhoun County EMS for the past 20 years, and has been a major part in building the system that we see today. The reasons for the early retirement are personal in nature and were not discussed at the meeting.

While sad to see her go, the Board expressed their gratitude for Hull’s service and wished her the best.

You have been taking care of the citizens of Calhoun County for the past 20 years,” Supervisor Carl Legore said. “It is time for you to take care of yourself. Thank you for everything you have done for the EMS.”

The agreement took effect immediately after it was signed. When the Board approved the agreement they also appointed Luke Winkelman as the interim director of the EMS until a new director can be found.
