Gowrie man in custody after Farnhamville Death

Nathaniel Bevers-Geving is being held at the Carroll County Jail on charges of Abuse of a Corpse - Failure to Disclose Known Location in connection with the death of a 17-year-old girl from Farnhamville, reported KCCI.
The girl was reported missing in Farmhanville on Sunday evening, just before Bevers-Geving was arrested.
The victim’s body was found Monday morning but the exact location has not been released yet. Farnhamville City Park was taped off as law enforcement appeared to search for and gather evidence.
On Monday, Southeast Valley High School confirmed the girl was a student there, stating in a Facebook post, “We understand that this news may be difficult for many in our community. Counseling services are available for anyone in need of support during this challenging time. Please reach out to your attendance center office for a referral to these services. Our thoughts are with the family and friends affected by this tragedy.”
