Lake City’s Western Days event continues to add new events

BINGO!  This year the Lake City Community Building was open during the annual Western Days Festival for people to sit down, cool off, and wait for the right numbers to be called.  In addition to this new activity, lots of old favorites from last year returned, including the Pedal tractor pull, SMCH Fun Run, Kiddie Parade, vendor fair, free face painting, breakfast and lunch served by the Lohrville/Churdan Lions Club and Calhoun County Cattlemen, and of course, the Western Days Parade.  Central School even got in on the fun with their annual open house.  With 75 people playing BINGO around noon, and even more packing the square this year’s Western Days was as busy as ever.  The only question is, what new activity will show up next year?  See more photos on page 5.
