SCC to Honor Cadyn Ogden with Memorial Bench at Home Duals

South Central Calhoun will honor Cadyn Ogden with a memorial bench during its home dual wrestling tournament on Saturday, January 31 in Rockwell City. Ogden was a sophomore at SCC and passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

“We are planning to honor him and have the bench dedication at our dual tournament,” said SCC co-head wrestling coach Lance Schultz. “Everything is planned to take place around noon, and we will be calling it ‘Cadyn Ogden Day’ at the South Central Calhoun Duals.”

Ogden was a longtime member of the Titan wrestling program, and the memorial is intended as a way for his teammates, friends, and the SCC wrestling community to honor and remember him. The SCC Duals are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Rockwell City Middle School.
