EMS deemed “essential service,” seeks additional funding

In November 2025, voters will decide if Calhoun County Iowa's Emergency Medical Services should be granted additional funding, as the County Board of Supervisors recently passed a resolution deeming EMS an "essential service."  A vote of 60% or more in favor is needed for the measure to pass.
