When the school had a need for a public address announcer for the junior varsity football games, Athletic Director D.J. Erkenbrack asked senior Derek Greene about giving it a try.
Football took a backseat this week at South Central Calhoun (SCC). The community was still trying to come to grips with the tragic loss of Cadyn Ogden when the Titans took the field for the homecoming game against IKM-Manning on Sept. 12.
The SCC volleyball team battled to the final play in their season opener against Ridge View, but lost a tough five set match to the Raptors on Aug. 26, 2025.
